Wasnt it in the John Wayne Alamo movie the one kid from Tenn had on a skunk skin hat. Can you imagine back then how tough you had to be to wear a skunk cap with out all the modern methods for taken the smell out. That sure wouldnt have been your courting cap.

well, i was thinking by wednesday if nothing happens i'll toss em - darn... so now i have a broody but no eggs... if nothing happens.... i'll have to do some checking around for her, only one of the banties is laying right now...​

I suppose that if your sense of smell were gone, you might be able to enjoy the beauty of a skunk skin hat - provided you didn't feel the need to have any "in person" conversation with someone while wearing it.

After looking at the pheasants with their tail feathers all tangled together, it is a wonder that none of them killed each other. It is a cool picture, though.


By the way, Michael D sent me a text today that his internet isn't working - again.
