Yes. I don't know how much shade you'll have out there, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the grass. Do you prefer to be at the east end, the middle, or the west end of the grassy area?

Thank you for doing all this Poco! Good idea to remind people to let you know if they're bringing birds and need a space to put them - that should really help mitigate the crowding and stepping over someone else's birds to look at the ones behind...

It will be wonderful - don't stress!

The middle north side isn't very grassy, and most of that space will be used for parking cars. The south side, the side that's open, is where the grassy lawn area is. The building runs east west, so I'm thinking birds and picnic blankets will fill up the long, rectangular grassy area that is south of the building. One more way to think about the grassy area: It's the only space between the building and the end of the fairgrounds property on its south border. Round building is north. Swine building in the middle. Grassy lawn south of the swine building.

Well I'm really liking these 2 a lot. They're one of the prettiest chickens I've ever seen and am going to probably look for for more. If I can find a male you can have all the eggs if you want.

That would be great! Hope you can find a nice male with an upright stance.

POCO whatever spot you pick for me outside will be fine, I would like to be where I am not in the middle of any air blowing through the barn, it gets dusty in there.....thanks!

old*cowboy :

Is this where poops is this year, or is this differant. If diffarant, what is going on for poops.

I'm sure somebody already answered this, but just in case: The North East Oklahoma Chicken Stock is not POOPS. This will be an opportunity to buy, sell, trade your eggs and birds. It is open to the public, and I plan to advertise so that Muskogee residents know they have something to go to on Saturday if they aren't otherwise occupied. I expect we will fill up the building with birds people want to sell and show off, so please send me an e-mail at [email protected] if you want to reserve a space. I will have the drawing of the building posted on the planning thread (see my signature line) on Monday. I'm encouraging people to reserve a space for setting up. If you don't reserve a space, be prepared to take what's left, or one can set up along one of the walls provided access doors and aisles are not blocked. Even the outside area on the grass can be reserved: Sooner and Doodle have center left and right.
