***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I need 2 Male Silver laced Polish and 2 Male Gold Laced Polish. Also Need about 6-8 Female Ameraucana Pullets or hens that lay Sky Blue Eggs. I am wanting to make a silver laced and a gold laced Ameraucana or an EE after the cross. They have to come from a NPIP Flock. I would Prefer to buy local but I havent found anyone yet! Anyone who know Ameraucana or Polish Breeders With in 1-2 hours of Tulsa?

I always wanted to either be a photographer or vet. I ended up with a computer science degree and work as a dialysis tech. Lol I have no clue how that happened.

Blunck's Photography in western OK used to have a really good apprentice program. I don't know how it is now though.

ALLBREEDS they start taking consiments at 11am ill be there about 2 or 3 auction starts at 6 PM but come early so you have time to viset and look at all the birds

have you ever breed laced birds before? dealt with problem lacing? because you will have plenty of problems more with Polish and 2x the problems with Hatchery stock as the lacing quality wil be poor to start with.

We all know a butcher size bird will sell better than $5 for that market. You can make some money on a 100 birds you should be able to get $10 a bird, so $1000 / 100, with an investment of $319 + electricity for 4 weeks in teh brooder. Gross is $681.00 / 100

Jarvis those are the same figures I gave dh last night. My thought was grow enough extras to make mine free - just got an email that the only "local" person selling pasture raised poultry is moving out of the area-- he was selling birds for $3.50 lb & always sold all he raised. Offering processed birds for sale might be something I would consider in the fall or next yr. my spring is already full of projects!

Jarvis is right on the Hatchery Lacing stock...
I bought my buff laced polish from McMurray and the only one that survived, once feathered out, appeared solid two tone. (Topknot a creme/white with the body solidly buff/light tan

Im not going to be super picky about the lacing its the Blue egg that I want! If I use a brown egg layer it will throw a green egg most of the time. Lacing will be easier to work than turning green to blue.
