***OKIES in the BYC III ***

HavinFun, I don't know what time it starts. I'd been planning for a month to go and now don't think I'll be able to. I was wanting some Modern bantams but I just don't feel comfortable getting them in the middle of winter.
Robin, I must be a bad chick-grandma cuz I reach right under them and take their eggs every day lol It doesn't cure them from being broody but at least I don't have to worry about roos hatching that I wouldn't be able to part with.

Robin - I've never been able to convince a hen she's not supposed to sit on eggs. If one starts, I just let her finish. Do yo need some eggs? I've got some eggs Victoria collected for her science project that could be incubated. We're going to Best Buy tomorrow for a USB hub. I could bring you eggs then.

I believe it starts at 6:00 and Blanchard, next week, starts at 5:00, right?

is jack bringing chicks
thanks

I don't think so but I'll ask him in the morning. He might have a Black Copper rooster or cucko maran rooster.
I'll post again late tomorrow morning after i talk to him.

- I just reread your post - He isn't hatching yet. He says March or late February. I bet it will be February because he has been getting some brooders ready.

I wanted to go, but it's a late sale and it's a long drive, so I had to skip it this time. I might force myself to go the the Chupps auction in Inola tomorrow morning. Birds start around 8:00, I think. The auctioneer running the sale in Stilwell is going to have a monthly auction at the Coweta fairgrounds starting on February 17th. I think they're using the same format: birds check in as early as 11:00, sale starts at 6:00 p.m. I'll have to work on hubby. He's more interested in shopping for computer parts.

Robin - The eggs are from my Sussex pen, so the babies will be lights, splits, and maybe some coronations. If I can convince John to go to Chupps in the morning, we won't be in Muskogee until after lunch some time. I will PM you in the morning when I know my schedule for the day.
