les,
Give me a list of what you want in the cattle feed, if you want it peletized or not, I have a friend who will custom mix anything but animal protien into teh feed and leave as a grind or pellet, he uses heavy burlap bags for most of his feed.

Nanakat,
I candled the shipped eggs all look good not scrambled for sure, and very fresh.. very small airsacs and all intact no broken or floating membranes, will let you know on fertility next Sunday.

Thank you. I wondered how they traveled. A few of them were a little smudgy, I wondered about cleaning them but decided to let you deal with that. Don't you mist with Oxine?

Have you tried the Bread and Butter zuchinni pickles yet?

I sterilize eggs when collected and when set, then once a week as well as oxine in my Inc. water, Spray my inc. once a week with a soaking mist, my hatcher before and after every set. I like my equipment clean so it works its best. Your eggs are in good hands. if they are fertile they will hatch.

Not yet, I am almost afraid to, I could have lived the rest of life without knowing about some of the other fine canned goods you have sent me home with, now that I know they exist it's a whole new world. i am afraid If I try them they will be like the rest of your fine foods, and I will have 5 acres of Jalepenos, 5 acres of Zuchini, and other stuff taking up the other 2 acres with the house and birds.

Cool that is a project I'd like to start in the next couple of years.

Start looking now to find someone that can mentor you. It is really difficult to figure out everything you need but is better when you can ask someone or see it in person. If all goes well you will be able to see mine & I might know alittle. Poultry & bee's has been putting up with my questions for a couple of years now.

what you don't realize yet is that I try to be a multi-task enabler - poultry AND bees

Remember when you plant zuchini that they grow big very fast. It's the big ones that make great pickles....and lots of them.
