***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I missed that thread with the Cochin questions, thanks for telling me. I’ll go find it now. BTW I am looking for a standard sized Cochin rooster for my four Cochin hens, preferably blue.

@hoog, you have a nice full weekend planned! Did you see the post asking what kind & color of Cochin you were looking for & where Faxon was?

Brr! Its really cold here this morning! Had a snow squall for a bit now the sun is trying to come out. Yeah! tomorrow is sale day!

Hope the weather allows you to get a lot done this weekend Sooner! You must be hard on the guys, they both have required surgery in the last six months!lol Hope he does well and recovers quickly.

NaNa sounds like you are getting things in order for tax time. I start trying to get the wife on the ball about this time of year and by aug or Sept. she finally gets it done! If we were ever on time they would think something was wrong and audit us!lol How are the cows holding up this winter? going to have a lot of spring calves?

Does anyone else have trouble submitting post? When I push the submit button the screen goes a lighter shade and this little dial spins but it never stops! I will finally go to another page and when I check back it has been posted!

@Okla-doodle-doo - It’s cold here too but it's supposed to warm up to 55 today. No problems with the submit button but the post a reply button doesn’t seem to work right.

I also haven't figured out how to edit my signature in this new format.

A gratuitous chicken pic.... This is my Lavender Rooster. I was going to sell/trade him but when I got the RiR Roo there were two Lavender Orp hens and I couldn’t resist.

I like orpingtons a bunch anyway and I really liked him inparticular, but now I have three breeds (Cochin, RiR/NH and Orpingtons) intead of two. I guess I can get eggs from the reds, meat from the blues, and broody moms from the Cochins.

Good morning everyone. I hope that this day goes well for each of you. I have a feeling that it is going to be a very trying day for me.

The weather is suppose to be nice this weekend. I hope to get alot done. I will save the house cleaning chores for the week nights. If we can get the floor in I can continue to work while he is down & out.

I can't take credit for those boys always needing fixed. DH is a teamroper & has just wore his shoulders out. This is the second one for him. LOL.

Dang, that's the handiest thing being able to use the multi-quote button! I've missed that on this forum.
Yes Rebecca, I wouldn't miss Blanchard this week.
Jack talked to Jerry and people were calling him about bringing birds a couple of days after Christmas.
There won't be Faverolles girls, will there?

I had to say that quiet so my husband wouldn't hear me-haha!

Woohoo I made it, man that was a lot to catch up on! It's cool to see everyone asking and answering questions and testing all the new features

unfortunately the new thread isn't very iPhone friendly. I'm going to see if I can't find updates to help.
That was a gorgeous BR roo!
And Mitzi I would definitely split some eggs from Lund. But they are out of Wisconsin so you might look into better shipping?
Have a good day all! I'll try to catch up again after work! Lol
I'm thinking more along the lines of maybe March. I'm playing catch-up trying to situate birds now as it is.

That's a really pretty rooster. I have a weakness for roosters, I sure wish unrelated roosters could be mixed together more often than they can. I hope it gets that warm here today, there's so much I want to do outside and I'm so far behind in everything.

I hope nothing's wrong. You don't sound like you're looking forward to it.
