***OKIES in the BYC III ***

In the time that it took to load this page, a new one had already started. I am getting tired of this.

Kass glad you are having a better day today!

Hi Barns good to see you.

Hi Swallow, how is everything

well lets just put it this way..... due to excessive delays from the underwriter department with one particular mortgage lender our application expired .. our loan lady was really upset about this that she made a few phone calls to other competitor lenders and explained our situation and as of yesterday we are under a new mortgage loan application with another bank and their underwriter has already approved the property ect ect(they just had to transfer all the paper work in our file to the new bank) currently waiting on the loan certificate and a new closing date... On top of that my truck broke down on my way but I was undettered.. I was going to walk or hitchhike if I had to make the new lender appointment, but by the LoRds good graces my dear realtor drove 30 min to come pick me up...lol...

hubby is fixing to be going on a "assignment" here in about 6-7 weeks for a long while... Just trying to deal with things one day at a time... typical military life....

How is it going with yall

THE END.

Carl how many colors of OEGB do you have.

I had 10 at one time, Cut back to 7 to make room now I have Opal, Brown red, Birchen, Columbian, Brassy back, Blue Wheaton, and Pocelian.
I think I am going to eliminate the Porcelian this spring, and likely the Blue wheaton this fall. I am using teh wheaton / Blue wheaton to fix problems with teh columbian, the porcelian are just in the way at the moment but not giving them away.
I want to get down to Opal, Brown Red, Birchen and Columbian, I am starting teh process of color duplication in the Rosecomb of Opal, Birchen and Columbian. I will likely do Silver Blue as well. that will give me 4 varieties of two breeds and all in the same color patterns.

I have definetly decided to work on the less common, seldom seen varieties of OE and making the same varieties in rosecomb since they are recognized just can't be found. I am getting to the short list of birds and seem to continue teh cut plan but will keep what I need until I have things where i want them so they can be competitive with any other variety out there in type and feather.

Just got an update from DH. The bus will be in Tulsa around 6:00 p.m. I expect he will want to sleep until Thursday. Here are a few photos from D.C. The first shows the rainy march. The second shows our nation's capital (in the rain).
