Not to attempt to hijack this thread, but I had heard that the price of hay is exorbitant in OK... tell me this isn't true... I live in Minnesota, and just can't believe that a bale of hay is so expensive... can someone shed some light on this?
When the replacement cochin eggs from Jim arrive, should I call Stephanie then...you might be sleeping.Yeah, they were set on the 7th. but I will be working nights the rest of this week and that swing from days to nights kicks me in the tail real hard, I knew if I did not get everything set and moved I would have chicks in my incubator again, and that makes for a mess, as well as injured chicks when they fall from 4ft to the incubator floor.
Moving them a day early won't hurt them and may allow them to better position themselves for hatching.
