If I had more room I'd get more chickens. I'm trying to talk hubby into another coop. Probably in the spring.

you are one tough lady, "i only need 2-3 hens". no way i can go chicken shopping and stick to a list!

went to shawnee show after ONE cockeral, cant remember how many birds i brought home, but it was WAY more than one!

my wife wasnt even mad at me!

She always fusses a little and pecks lightly when I reach under her but in the morning she will get off the nest and doesn't act a bit like she's broody I don't think she stays on the nest all day at least I haven't seen her doing that yet

no, but have been researching alot, thinking i may go with the brinsea eco 20, lots of folks have had good success- saving money from the commissions i've been getting- am hoping to be able to sell eggs from higher quality birds... you guys are such enablers!

, heres how it works. get chickens THEN get the coop!

thats the way you have to do it, if you wait till you have the coop space you will never have any more chickens.

oops, ra outa toes and fingers!

i am thinking somewhere around 20-25, with a few of those being less tha an hour across a border.

some county fairs still have open shows, but i dont count them.

wish i could remember where they are all at, but crs has won out on me.

Robin the only down side to the Eco is it will always be full! We love ours & I have had many 100% hatches. Sell a few hatches them you can buy something bigger. DD. Bought a sportsman & hatcher with money from selling birds.

Army wife I will pm you michael's info when I am @ my desk. He is in Anadarko & will be happy to make sure you get some new ladies. If he doesn't have what you want today he can find it for you.

Spent the night looking at a few seed catalogs just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything REAL important. Tomorrow I am starting some eggplant & a few more tomatoes.

Wooo Hoooo figured it out!!!!!!!!!!! Been trying to figure out how to post pics to the thread that are already in my BYC albums. Don't know if I did it the official way, b/c the way I did I can only do one pic at a time, so it will be a bit tedious, but oh well.

I've been trying to figure out how that was supposed to work but I think I have it now, Now I need to figure out how to move pictures from one album into another one without having to upload it again,
