At first I didn't want to deal with the red tape of selling in Lawton, but I do prefer a market that is organized & makes everyone play as fair as possible.

I thought they soft peddled the regs pretty well last night. I think that new market manager they hired last year is softening some of the edges. It is clear she wants people to participate, and enjoy doing it.

So did you ever hear why Ronnie stopped selling at the market? He used to be one of the board members and was a charter member. I know he has plenty of birds!

since my moderns are the only thing laying, thats about all i got in the bator. candled all 8 eggs last night, threw 1 clear one away and the other 7 look good. sure hope they hatch, should know mondsay/tuesday.

Hey ya'll! I'm new to the BYC, having just purchased 2 silkies recently. Unfortunately, one died today and I need someone to keep my other girl company. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd be willing to purchase another silkie or other compatible breed. I live in Yukon. Thanks!

you realy need to stop that, you wont sleep at night if you keep it up!

Cool, I feel so much better Jim.. Thanks for helping me out there. So your going to have a brooder running? I amy go ahead and bring you some young cockrells next weekend then.. I would raise some of these out myself but really need teh pullets more than the cockrells, although I am keeping a few of them.

Welcome to the forum.. Silkie? Male or Female ? or pair? what age? all of these things will help us point to a resource or for a resource here to volunteer.

I don't take naps, I recruit others to that for me, bcause I know I need them but can't ever manage to make it work.. This week it's my grand-daughters turn, she is really helpfull, actually helped me change the hot water tank earlier and was a great deal of help for only being 2. she knows the difference in pliers, wrenches and screw drivers doesn't always get the right size but she tries real hard.

Gdaughters helping their Gpas never gets old. Here is me and my Gpa fixing a tiller.
