Looks like you have too many fish in that pond, I'll be there tomorrow to help depopulate it at no charge/
Those squash bugs destroyed my gourd vines last year. I can't remember what is recomended to deal with them.
Haven't had grasshopper problems yet but it seems that when i read about a garden problen on the thread it soon shows up at my place. I read about the mold spoining sprouting seeds and now some is messing with the cat grass I grow for our cats!!!![]()
He is in Oklahoma for the weekend I believe. His moms birthday??has anyone heard from wayne? those storms near him at all?
Hey NoCityBoy, I was thinking the same thing. That pond is obviously too crowded and in desperate need of thinning. I have a little time I can donate to the cause next week, at no cost to Lightfoot.
And hello Marybeth! Yes, I was on and looking around earlier today. I meant to say a few hellos then, but got sidetracked and I'm just now getting back to my desk.
Hello everyone.
-Stimp-
Thanks, he sure is a sweetie, I had to catch a Roo and he sure wanted to help got in close but didn't grab or bite I'm thinking he's a fast learner really think he's a keeper I can't imagine how he got lost or got dumped I'm keep an eye on postings if someone is looking for him and the store where I got him is asking their customers if anyone is missing him, I wouldn't want to keep him from where he belongs but if it turns out he belongs here I'm good with that
Any guesses on breed? (figures folks on a chicken forum know good dogs better than most)
Squash bugs are evil!!!!! I was able to save my squash last year by constant squishing of eggs, nymphs, and adults. Preditory spiders eat the nymphs, some sprays can kill them (but will get the good bugs too) I tried several organic sprays w/o much success from the sprays. This year I'm going to plant some varieties that they are supose to like less, and try companion planting w/ nastursiums, pansy, and rat tail radish.
