***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have 1 HUGE white cooler I can bring to POOPS, may have some tarps, not sure. What are the tarps for? what sizes needed?

I do have an E-Z up canopy, but isn't real useful if the wind is blowing.

I'm stuck at work today, but tomorrow will be a big planting day for me. I've been getting an area ready for potatoes and they have been cut for about a week now so I'll plant those tomorrow, and I found a good deal on aparagus roots so I'll plant about 60 of those also. The ones I planted last year are up I have about 4 spears that have broke the surface so far.

I also am going to start my indoor tomatoes and peppers, think I'll fill the kiddy pool and put my duckweed in it too. I planted some peas and radish earlier this week and will need to plant more and some other cool crops (greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts etc....)

Gary said he was going to work on the new coop today, but he has intense hayfever allergies so not sure how much he will be able to get done today. His allergist stated if we don't see improvement this spring he will terminate the shots that they aren't going to work if they haven't improved any by now, so it doesn't look good b/c it has been a BAD allergy season so far for him. He has already had the whites of his eyeballs swell up over the colored parts several times and that doesn't usually happen until at least the mowing starts.

Thanks for letting us know what you are planting. I had been wondering if I could plant those items and now I know!

I will put you on my list with the food, I will need to use the cooler for drinks.

The tarps I am not completely sure but I am thinking that they may be used to either block the sun or the wind on the side of the pavillion.

As for the EZ up canopy, I would plan to use that for yourself while visiting & any birds you might bring or aquire.

The pavilion where POOPS is going to be held is open on the sides. If it is windy, we will ned some tarps for a wind break. Hopefully we won't need them but should be prepared. As for the size, bigger is probably better.

I'll check with hubby on the sizes and how many...we should have several tarps in the barn purchased last year. We also have some ski roping for tying.
