***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Lost another purebred cochin chick last night. last night. Now I'm down to only 9 out of the Iowa eggs. Thats the second one in a week. Bummer! All the others are thriving. Hoping to bring a few to POOPS. Will now have to see what happens in the next fe weeks.

Beautiful day for weed wacking the garden. My potatoes are already up to 8 inches tall. Will be adding a hay mulch around them. Have to clear a path from the bales to the beds. Need to pull a bunch of bolted turnips too. A gardener's life is never dull.

When did you give him the Tylan. It usually take 24 hour for it to clear up the congestion when I've used it.
Hope he gets better.

last nite and this morning, i have him isolated outside so he can see the girls, i am assuming he needs to be isolated? he is eating and drinking and now giving his warning call when he sees something...

Mary's Swap in Midwest City was crazy busy with vendors and buyers. I guess everyone has been cooped up for awhile and is taking advantage of the nice weather. Visited briefly with Michael Daugherty and Modernman. Sounds like the Newcastle sale was very large, since Modernman said the auction finished about midnight.

looks like captain is not gurgling as much, do i need to isolate him 5 days? also, here is a pic of him, i am wondering if the dark on his comb is normal?? also, you can see his attempt to be a nn...not sure what is going on with that either
