Is it even possible for a new hatched chick to have a worm that long???? Wouldn't it take longer to grow that size then the chick has been alive????

I know this sounds silly, but that looks almost like they ate something they shouldn't have. I have no idea how that could have happened, so I'm probably wrong. I know you wouldn't have let them eat something odd. I don't see how it could have happened in transit or at the hatchery. That looks like what my cat pooped out after eating string. Probably just strange looking mucus.

Yes large fowl BBS color, except the one survivor is obviously not BB or S in color

I'm not sure I would bother ordering from them again if I can't get a return phone call. The only hatchery I have ever used was McMurry & they are great.

I may be stuck since they have my money

I was surprised when atwoods had keets over $5 too! But the LF chicks ate higher this yr as well. I think the higher price might be the regular price this yr. Bantams seem to be priced close to the same this yr.
We will being over ran with keets of all colors soon. Yesterday DD collected 7 fresh guinea eggs, previous days she only found 2 or 3. Lots of people in town have been asking about guineas since the ticks are already HORRIBLE this yr. DD is so shy when it comes to speaking to adults she doesn't know, hopefully selling keets will help her get over the fear!

We should have some hatched by poops. The eggs we set Thursday will be keets for poops. Plus we sat a few last wk. How many we have depends on the fertility of these eggs! I should know more in a few wks. hope for at least 2 dz keets to bring.

Cowboy has some NN chicks, not sure if he is parting with any, but he also has eggs. I will be hatching some NN & if timing works out I could bring some to poops & maybe someone could get them your way Kass. I know it is awful to loose birds you have so much invested into emotionally & it has been a roller coaster ride already! Don't worry! We will all do our best to make sure you end up with the chicks you wanted if the hatchery doesn't come through for you!
