i did forget to say that i do like roses, and those are very nice looking flowers.

wife has a bush in the front yard, it has lived thru me, her, 2 grandkids, and several dogs "watering" it.

grandson thinks he has to bring meemaw a flower ever so often, she doesnt yell at him when he brings her a rose.

Mitzi those Lt Brahma babies are so sweet! They come right up to be picked up and have loved their day outside. I had to keep running one of my older hens back down to the barn area, for some reason she heard them calling and came running. She has never done that before but you would have thought they were hers!

I may have to forget quarantine and let her have them.

The new young orpington roo is strutting around his play pen like he is hot stuff. I don't think it is helping his ego that we keep laughing.

All in all it has been a real good day today!

Hey guys just wondering if you would send good vibes to my husband's uncle. He just found out he has stage 4 cancer of the liver. His liver was fine 7 months ago, totally clean so it's moving really fast. He's opted to just let it go instead of trying chemo. So just looking for good thoughts and prayers that he is able to get all of his affairs in order and pass in as little pain as possible. His name is Sherman and he really is just an awesome and wonderful guy. His health went downhill after his wife died about two years ago. He had to have his bladder removed and just lots of other troubles, but we all thought things were getting better. So sad he really is a great guy.

Aaawww, she wants babies to take care of! I had them for 2 wks and they were isolated with just my Dark Brahmas and my Ameraucana babies. I'm 99.9% sure the babies don't have a thing that'll get anyone sick. The adults might be carriers of something the babies could get though. If possible I'd keep them on medicated chick starter because if they're out with adults (if you let her have em') they'll need it to ward off coccidia. Take a soggy piece of bread out to them and show it to them lol They'll take your fingers off for bread!
