Who was it asking about Swedish Flower Hens? Here's an auction for some eggs. 8 eggs for $25 plus shippi ng seems like a great price. That's cheaper than the Ameraucana eggs I was looking at and Ameraucanas aren't even rare ;-) I'd buy them but with no feathered legs, no muffs or beards and only 4 toes.....there's just no attraction there. Not odd enough for me lol

Hey, guys. I haven't posted in forever. Lots of family stuff going on. Anyway, I see POOPS is this weekend. I am definitely going to be there with my kids and one of their friends. Anyone know if there will be other kids around? Will they run around and play games and have fun? Also, who do I contact to find out what to bring as far as food? Thanks!

Monty I need to add 2 to my group-- Ashliegh & Becky

Mitzi- I think a fall hatch would be best, that would give you are few months to get the babies you have now into their own spaces. We would be happy to split a batch with you. Roos are fine here, since they are all snuggled & loved equally. I figure Fat Louie (our Blue Wheaton) will live a LONG life here. He was from DD very first hatch, so she will never let him go.

Below is the detail for the egg contest. I struggled with the prizes since I know of kids ages 4-12 entering so far. I went with candy, since all kids love that. (FYI, my own children never get candy, I am one of those mean moms, but this is a special event right?)

Mitzi I just looked at the blue wheaten that sold 2 days ago for over $90 for 2 dozen. I think prices will come down a little in the fall. I bought mine around Haloween 2 yrs ago. Think I pd about $35 shipped for a dozen. So I have kept that $35 rooster! My eggs took over a wk to get here priority mail. It was one of those shipping horror stories. Maybe chicks woulde be a better way to go. If I see any I will let you know!

TULSA question: Is there any place in or near mid-town that I could buy a small amount of dry ice? Hy-Ve stores back home used to sell it but I haven't seen it around here. Thanks
