We will put on long sleeves & leather gloves when we get home & do our best to get him in a cage with water. He really doesnt seem stuck, both wings move freely & he moves his head around. He just has a few toes hanging on to the fence. I honestly looked hard trying to figure out what was keeping him there. I have the Rehabber in Lawtons number. I am heading there after lunch so I will give her a call. It is always something interesting around our place!

Oh no they will work but I was really wanting some pretty barred rocks. I just love the barring on the nice ones, I am now looking at the dominques, lol. Hubby says no more hatching eggs until after July (but I am setting my last batch tomorrow night so if I find some before then, look out! LOL). I figure it will be fall before I find what I want. I am fine with that. It isn't like I am short on birds at all at the moment. We have way to many pens full of birds. I am going to take some to the sale on friday at Harrah if I can find the contact info for them to call.

a towel wont save your fingers will it? I was thinking use a bucket and a lid to help shield his head from your skin. I agree tho I wouldnt wait to

Took us about 30 min. Got the owl free. Packing up paint supplies that DH needs & heading to Lawton with the owl. A part of his underside was wrapped around the barb on the fence. His nose is pretty scrapped up but if the shock of hanging upside down wasn't too much I think he will be fine.

sale friday harrah where when???? I wana come too?

There will be a sale in Coweta this Friday at 6:00 p.m. It's at the Wagoner County Fairgrounds barn, across the street from the middle school in Coweta. The sale is getting bigger. I usually have to leave around 9:30, and there are always birds still being sold when I check out.

Oh good good good!! I was wanting to go to Harrah feed to get some of that game cock feed but kept putting it off waiting for Owl Updates lol!
