***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Well finished one a-frame before it got to hot. Pulled up all my peas out of the garden. They were attacked by some little mite type bug this week and it killed them so quickly. So the chickens got a good meal on peas. Got eggs moved to the hatcher this morning and eggs set for someone else. My little Jackmac has broke out in a rash. Told him that is what happens to little boys who go climbing trees. But no other symptoms other than an itchy rash so hopefully it is just something he bathed with this morning or something he found in a tree, lol. We lost 4 of the eight guineas that hatched from the wild guineas eggs. They came out with deformed feet. I tried to help them but they just werent getting any better.

Well off to take kids to oldest boys basketball game.

It was me! It was me! She was so sweet to set eggs for me!

We are having lunch then boxing up keets to take to Blanchard. Spent the AM moving chicks to the grow out pens & making sure feed & waters were filled. It is already getting hot! Hope to see some of you at the sale.

The chick is still not walking normal, but is getting around better today.

Had a great time at the swap meet this morning. Jared's game was cancelled so I got to go early.
We were able to spend a lot of quality time with Bfrancis, Michael Daugherty, Old Cowboy, and got to see Teach
who is about to move to Texas. Was sure good seeing all of those guys. Also got to see Dean and Jackson who came even though Poultry and Bees is in Indiana.

Well had an eventful day, now I am pooped!!! Was great seeing and visiting with Guy and Teach and the boys at Guy Rose Auction, there was not a real good turnout of birds there this weekend but there were some deals to be had, I didn't buy a thing! Yay Me!!!! i did sell some junk er stuff and at least made gas money!!! Yay!!! Got feed and ate lunch, got gas and home, Jessie and the kids unloaded the truck and did chores for me!! Wow and it aint evens Father's day yet!!! So anyways, was so excited to do a trade with Teach for an new Icelandic hen to my flock!! I love her she is black with redish orange in her neck and she has a Top Knot!!! Whoo Hoo, I have been wanting some of the top knotted ones!!! Yes!!!! I'm Ok, just fell off my soapbox!! I'm good, talk to Yall later, Lynn
