I was wondering how you would handle that. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy when I say I don't want soy in anything.

There are studies that show Soy meal being either benificial or harmful. Seems the culprit is a natural Estrogen called Phytoestrogen. Some studies show that this can mess up the fertility of small animals but it just depends on the amount and concentration injested. Oh and who paid for the study. As with all things way too much is not a good thing.


Captive/caged critters can not choose what they eat as they would naturally which can cause problems in the long term.

So my chicken fever has now evalved a bit further. It has now reached the point that i am look at materials people set out for large trash to see if it can be used in coop construction. I'll just keep telling my self i dont have a problem im being cost effective this way and recycling. Thats good for all right!

Im half way through constructing one coop/ chicken tractor out of pallets i got. Who knows what i will come up with next. Only thing with the pallets is tearing them down takes a lil time. I should stop my complaning free dose take a lil work some times. I do
