Working on my first cup of coffee..the reward for getting the dogs walked and the chickens fed and watered. Lots of dew on the ground, a welcome sight.
Daughter has surgery this morning so will be headed to the city soon to be with her hubby and daughter.

Good morning y'all geting ready to go to work. I can hear the crowing competition going on outside with the 16 free rage Roos. Guess what y'all I haven't seen any ticks or fleas or many Mosquitos. I guess the Roos and the Guinys are doing their job. Wooohooo

Well I have enough fence. I just have two chicken murdering dogs. They're getting better though. They mostly leave em alone when they're in there yard. They used to harass them constantly through the fence. Now they only do that if I'm in there.

That creeped me out! Especially when the dancer was in the water with the swan. I was like "Honey? Do you know that a swan imprinted on a human being is actually DOING when he touches you like that in the water? Um, check please!

Um..ok. I'll bite. What is he doing when he is touching you in the water?

I think we need to find a home for our Barred Rock rooster. He is so pretty but he crows loud and often. It just may be too much for in town.

Good morning all, I went over to moms yesterday and she was putting up containers of beans in the freezer, she cooked up a big bag of pinto and a big bag of great northern beans, it smelled so good in her house I had to have some, I had a small bowl of both mixed and oooohhh they were so good, had ham hocks in them!!!! Then she told me she had been on a tea diet and ask if I wanted to try it, well since I need to loose some weight and I liked the flavor of the teas she had made up I agreed, so I guess I will give it a good try and see if I can take some weight off, I need too anyways so that they can work on my back some day!!! Wife said chickens were all good this morning when she went out and did the morning chores. We need to work on building some more pens but I have to do that a little at a time with my back the way it is,. have a great day all! Lynn
