WOW congrats!!! You also have chicklings here at my house. They are hatching like crazy! Tomorrow is official hatch day so maybe we can meet up Sat. if they are all hatched out. Lots of pepping going on in your trays! Can't wait to see what all hatches out.

I see a second little gray feather foot baby running around in the hatcher so there is at least two of those mystery chicks. Guess we will just wait and see what they grow out to be, lol.

Hey nanakat my sand plums are not ripe I don't think.They are light red and still sour in the middle. What do you think?

When I pick, we pick the red and the light red as well as those that are turning....the more sour ones have more pectin. The red ones really give the juice their color. I lay the less ripe ones out on newspaper or cookie trays for a couple of days and make another batch of juice then. Saves going out to pick twice.

Sure, I think you have 6 eggs still in there and lots of chicks! I have to go to the feed store really early tomorrow. Matthew has to take the ACT at OBU so I am taking him and then going to the feed store. I can meet you on the way : )

what feed store if its the one at harrah newalla i will have to be there about nine to drop mom off. so your telling me most those eggs hatched and i have round 20 chicks?

I need to give Oreo a cigar today. He officially has offspring and they are going to cluck w/ a NY accent. I sent 20 eggs there and this morning there are 11 hatched and more on the way, can't wait to see pics!!!!
