Yep, they spend 3 weeks in the house in a brooder, then move to rabbit hutches for 3 weeks with a light then off to a Aframe or a grow out pen depending on space. Wish we were going to Blanchard this weekend but it has to wait, you can bet we will be at the auctions in July! LOL Sad thing is we don't go to auction to buy birds anymore we buy junk and visit more than anything else. You put chicks in rabbit hutches? Me tooo![]()

Bantam Malay, crooked toe ??Monty I would bet that it is the difference in the matings and not the incubation itself. But as curious as you are I can almost bet there is an experiment coming down the pike.
The rooster is a bantam Malay which is what suprised me the most, could be that there was once crosses in his background that are coming to light now.
Teva told me to put him out on a tie-out and when I mentioned that there are far too many Coyotes around to do that she remarked that they do need thinning out. LOL
Hi banjoejoe can't wait. Where will it be held? I will not bring as much as I did to neocs so I can visit and talk more chicken talk is so much fun. By the way you guys did good as auctioneers .planing has begun for the GREEN COUNTRY SWAP im thinking some time in october
