***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Good morning all, I had a bit of a ruff day yesterday, just didn't feel good, had a headache, my left arm hurt some for a while, I kept getting nauseous, so I took it easy and set under the fan and drank Ice water most of the day, Jessie fixed supper, we had homegrown ground pork patties, home grown tomatoes(from my uncle) pickles and Ruffles potato chips, man it was delicious, the pork patties and tomatoes were wonderful, I sure wish I had planted a couple of tomato plants, my last broodie hatched out all she was going to a couple days ago so we are moving her and the only three babies she hatched to a bigger brooder cage today, I am excited to see what they look like as they are one of my color experiments!!! Have a great day all!!! Lynn

Quote: We must have the same neighbors, haha. I'm at the end of my rope, I will call the police tonight if they start again. Do they not realize not everyone wants to be up all night? BTW, I live in a neighborhood, not out in the country. They were waking a lot of people up I'm sure.

Ditto on the fireworks complaint. My neighbors have been starting at about 8:30 or so each evening and going til well after midnight for the last two weeks. I can't imagine how much money they spent on all those fireworks but hopefully they run out soon. I'm about to lose my mind.

Got up this morning to find a dead chicken. Apparently she got caught in the fence between the rabbit pen and the chicken yard and she was upside down. It's really sad because it was the only chicken we hatched out from our incubator project this year. I wasn't home most of yesterday and I'm guessing no one bothered to check on them much or they would have noticed she was missing. Poopy.

On my way to a funeral in Pawnee today. I'll wave on the way by Lynn. Then my son is off with his grandparents and cousin for a week of deep sea fishing in the Gulf as a highschool graduation gift. I hope he catches some fish to bring home.

Stay cool everyone. Looking for that cooler weather to show up soon.

The City of Choctaw and the City of Meeker both have bans after 10pm. That really would help if the communities would be consistent.

Sorry to hear about the losses on birds.

Lynn...get to feeling better soon.

I am looking for breeders of Large Fowl Wyandottes. I am interested only in show quality, not hatchery stock. I am wanting to get back into exhibition poultry. LF Wyandottes are hard to come by as you just do not see them often. Anybody know of anyone who has them?

The Columbian Wyandotte hatch is on it's way...so far two have pipped and are chirping... I'll be sitting on pins and needles by midnight. The hatch day is actually tomorrow.
Some of these will be the Blue Columbian...so excited..
