***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Help! One of my Polish hens has some sort of respiratory thing happening. Yesterday she sneezed a couple of times and I thought that was odd but she was up running around and acting normal. Today she is making funny respiratory noises, sneezing and not standing up straight. She did come look at the treats I brought them but didn't actually eat. What is the best antibiotic I can get quickly (atwoods or tractor supply) for respiratory stuff?

Duramycin-10

Hey Yall! How much are people selling a dozen of eggs for these days? Just curiuos! Thank you!
I'd go with Tylan 50 injections. For a pullet or Bantam it's 1/4 cc once a day in their breast muscle for 5-6 days. Keep in mind most respiratory illnesses can resolve and the birds become carriers and will infect other birds you put in with them if they recover.

I have 5 toed, bearded, top hatted NN's.
Do some NNs have feather legs? What about skin color? I am getting too curious about NNs. Now that I've got a second breed, Ameraucanas/EEs, I am slipping into more breeds! I held off with just Cochins for almost 3 years. Well I did have one red NN that I raised from a chick and gave away at 4 mo. I kind of miss her.

MJ, the NN gene is dominant and the feather legs seems to be also. So you'd at least get *some NN feather legs in the hatch lol!

LOL I see you slipping on the slope towards NN's now! Hmmm cochin/NN crosses that might be interesting, haha.

That depends if you are talking about the breed of NN that is bred to standard then no, if you are talking about NN crosses, then they can have anything your heart desires basically the NN is an easy to pass gene so you could make your own NN w/ feathered legs. I have NN w/ the normal skin color (yellowish) they have alot of red on there necks and faces, and I have those w/ dark skin. (they are my favorite)
