Wow! I'm catching up from the last couple of days and there are some beautiful chickens in this thread. : )

I worked lots this weekend and it will continue next week. It's homecoming for my university, which means I'm working lots of events. I'm might be kind of quiet next week.

But here in a chicken and duck update:

They have grown so quick! And can not be seperated. It's the cutest.

I get to see this family of deer outside my home everyday. I live on the side of town and they actually wander up.

beautiful pics! amazing when they grow so fast! and they are obviously bonded

i went to osu, graduated from the Graphic Design dept- is Mike Brown still there- he's a kick!

Good morning everybody! October is here......my favorite time of year!

After I feed and water the little rascals I`m going over to a friends house and bust up a round bale and haul it back over to my place for my pens....It`s a win win, I get free hay and he gets it out of his yard.

I hope y`all have a wonderful day! :)

Okay I think I am almost caught up and Kass that quilt square is BEAUTIFUL!!! I used to be able to make granny squares but I can't even do that anymore haha.

Mitzi, I can't stand auto correct! I was trying to text hubby just this morning so he would move the newly hatching keets out of the hatcher to a brooder and it wouldn't let me text "keet" kept changing it to "meet" lol.

Traci, hubby will be waiting on your call this afternoon. Just make sure eggs are marked as to what they are so when I set them I can get them all in the right trays. He drives a big green one ton, Ford dualy truck.

We had 2 guinea keets out of the shell this morning and 2 more almost out and 2 more pipped at 5AM Hopefully most of them hatch and we sell them all, haha. I don't mind keeping the 3 we hatched last month but I don't need/want more guineas. I think there may even be some that hatched under the momma we had a BA roo out there sure checking out the guinea hen sitting the nest and her nest. Can you believe she sat out there in all that rain we had. Never leaving her nest. She has been okay about us bringing some food and water to her but when I tried to cover the nest she abandoned it until I moved the tarp we put up to protect her. If she hatched anything at all I will probably put her in a pen with whatever hatched and let her try to raise them.

Now on to my Monday it is going to be a quiet day since we can't issue any vouchers in our office on the 1st of the month so this may be a clean my office day. We move to our new offices the end of this month and Lord knows I have stuff I need to weed out of my desk before then, haha. Everyone have a great Monday!
