***OKIES in the BYC III ***

McG best wishes for DH. Hope for a speedy recovery.
On the hail with the roof top garden, we have hail storms that break out car windows & put holes through siding. Imagine a roof top garden could be smashed to smithereens. The hail storm this spring broke & destroyed every plant in my garden. Grass is made to be stepped on, but plants are not. Just my opinion, could be wrong.
Alexis would love for someone to show her more knitting & crochet type stuff, but she doesn't warm up to people easy. Bet she could learn alot from a few YouTube videos.

Oh! That was not what I thought you meant by green roof. This is what I meant by green roof.

Mcguyver, so sorry about your husbands unexpected surgery, glad he is doing better though, and it is good they caught it while it could be fixed, hope for a speedy recovery. I of course had to look up the patterns you were talking about I have never crocheted amigurumi before but may have to learn just to make my own D.W. dolls.

As they say on Reddit: "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"

Seriously though, if you start making Doctor Who amigurumi I would be interested in talking about a commission. I made a couple of Doctor Who dolls a while back.

That's Nine and I guess some random original companion. It was going to be Rose Tyler, but the yellow embroidery floss I had was totally wrong and ugly. I went to buy more but Hobby Lobby was closed, and Wal-Mart didn't have anything appropriate. I ended up using purple because I had lots of skeins of purple, I like purple hair, AND I was very, very impatient. Nine turned out good though. I LOVED making his little "leather" jacket!

Wow lots of craftiness! I can believe the dolls! Too cute! MJ a guy at our old church us to sell purses & custom made things out of crocheted bags. He did a HUGE wall hanging once with a local companies logo in it & everything. All of it is very impressive to me. All of my crafting skills come from the help of machines , sewing, seger, cricut. No free hand crafting here!
Think I way over did it this weekend. Slept for 12 hours last night & feel like I need a nap now. How is that possible?
Mitzi forgot to say yes my girls are complete oposite, Taron is my outgoing Tom boy & Alexis is my crafty quiet one. Taron was talking in full sentences when she was 18 months old, so we knew it was coming. Alexis doesn't like to get dirty or playing with animals either. Making her brush the dog is usually worse than going to the dentist.
Haven't figured out what is going on but for some reason Bambi is still in her fence. I am sure she will get bored & jump out soon enough.

Sorry about loosing the ladies nana! Do you think this rainy weather got them?

So enjoy seeing these young children getting their start in showing and seeing that they were having a good time! Some of the children looked smaller than their birds

A few pics of the chickie doos from today, they had not seen the sun in almost a week, they missed it! lol

Any ideas on what type of comb this is?

I'd say it's a spiked V comb and just a thought....Will the chickie-doos grow into those feet?!!

This was a horrible, horrible weekend. So far, I'm not impressed with 2012. It can just get along with its rat killin'. Hubby had to be hospitalized for emergency surgery. He's fine now, recovering, but it was real scary. Check please, I'm done.

So sorry to hear about the emergency surgery...prayers for a speedy recovery for yur hubby.

Tonight is the chickie doos first night in the brooder in the big girls coop. They didn't seem to pleased based on the amount of loud chirping going on. But they had a belly full of dubias and fermented grains.
