***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Macy's frind was in a bad wreck it threw her out an she is asking every one to pray for her,,,17 yrs old Macy an her mom an sis are ther with her now ...

Mike hate to hear about Macys friend. Heard was a wreck where a 17yr old in Caddo died last night. Was that the same wreck. So sad to hear about the wreck.

I spent a few hours watching the new ducklings last night. Was nice to have a distraction from thinking about surgery & recovery. One kept failing over on its back so I was scared I would loose it. This AM I was down to 6 ducks. The remaining ones are eating & drinking well. Hate that we lost 5 from being chilled but it was very cold out so I know they chilled quickly. DH doesn't won't to try & give them back to their mom since we lost 5 so quick. I will be taking the 6 remaining to Blanchard tonight since I MUST get them a new home before my surgery. I am going to put a couple hot hands in a box with them to help keep them warm.
If anyone is interested in the ducks LMK in the next few hours. DH can bring them to Lawton tonight or I can meet you in Chickasha. As long as you promise to take good pictures & provide them a good home you can have them to love. I would keep them but with my surgery its impossible. If no one claims them by 2 I will sadly take them to Blanchard.

jcat - Hope you find a home for the ducklings. I'm three hours away, and I'm sure DH would make "the face" if I asked to drive that far for more ducks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone at Blanchard will fall in love with them.

Thanks poco I am sure someone will take the ducks & love them. I planned on letting them stay with there mom & dad. They were a happy family until we moved them from there home to ours.

I know there are some Iris lovers on here. Oklahoma gardening (on PBS) is doing a segment on them this wk. very good info & lots pretty flowers.

Does anyone have details on the show in Shawnee in December? I know it was mentioned but I searched back for about 10 pages and didn't find it....

Home from Blanchard auction. The ducklings have a new home. Was good to see everyone. Walked out only bought a computer desk that Taron wanted for her room. Solid wood desk that was already put together. Best $20 I have spent in a long time. Had my girls & my sisters kids with me & they all stayed outside & played in the cold the whole time.
I probally should have bought some eggs, kids ate every egg in the house today. Told them they are going to have to go talk nice to the hens if they want breakfast in the AM.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
