I've thought about not being very nice to this person. I'm having some mood swings today ... Gerald can attest to my really bad mood I've been in lately ... let's just say I'm hormonally challenged right now.

I asked them for a picture of the eggs with our markings on them, so I could be sure, but they apparently didn't want to take another picture. They also said they threw one of the eggs away that was shattered.

Gerald sometimes uses a china marker ... so it's possible it was his markings. It's definitely the box we mailed. I recognize my "Fragile! Hatching Eggs" markings.

I don't know Teach, I blaim the post offices, not so much the hatchery. I mean they don't have to be closed on National Holidays as well as sundays and Christmas AND Thanksgivings... I mean seriously? Seriously?

Ok I took a pic of my eggs that are in the incubator I did see the black marking. I can not get the dang thing to load up but my pictures turned out clearer than them. The picture looks a little suspicious, all the "finger" holes are to perfect. If it were me and I am really having a hard time with this as I know how well you guys package your eggs. I would go ahead and send more.

I have never ordered eggs but plan to soon and to me it sems these people may have had some experience with doing something like this before I would tell them to cram it and then let them post pics and there BS and then all who have ordered eggs from Carla and give testimony of how there have been no complaints on the eggs that you have received. Just a thought

Wow - I'm shocked at "unhappy turkey egg buyer's" attitude. Sounds like they are offering to pay only HALF the shipping cost and totally expect you to send more eggs. Now I'm of the mind to agree with the "tell 'em to stuff it" crowd.

You're great Carla - don't let 'em get to you. We will all back you up 1000 percent!

Hey everybody!
I just talked to a lady in Tuttle (Not our Carla lady) who had baby frizzles on craigslist to sell. Of course I am going to get 5 of them from her tomorrow but she has 3-5 more left. Her name is April, and she also had guineas keets and Cuckoo/Welsumers crosses as well for sale. Really good prices, too.
I did the good neighborly thing and told her about BYC. April can not have chickens because she lives in city limits but hatches eggs she buys from Ebay and at auctions.
If anyone is interested in some of her chickes here is the link to her craigslist ad.

I'm getting some frizzle babies tomorrow.

Yes yes... Tell them to stuff it... with a few chosen words thrown in.

Thanks guys! I appreciate every one of ya'll. I'm still doing my darndest to be nice about it ... sent them another message and again said I'd send 6 eggs, even though I'm replacing only 4 eggs, and that priority mail will cost me more than what they want to pay for shipping and that they can even check priority shipping rates at USPS.com. If they send $12 as I requested, I'll mail the eggs.

Stray - those few days are the only days off that lots of working
people get. And, they did not ship any eggs on Sunday, nor
would there have been any service on Memorial Day.....that day
that we remember all the veterans that have fought for all of
us......so that we are free to have an opinion.
