Carla, your packing job is superb. There story has changed enough to give me pause. They said the box was fine in one reply you posted an in another the photos showed it damaged? If you are unsure what to do at the most I would send the difrence of 6 eggs if and ONLY if they payed the shipping. However when people start threating me I dont tend to bend. Let them post a photo an get tore apart on here. Ive had great luck with shipped eggs and Ive had the poops with them. It was NOT your packing (or your husbands?) skills that broke those eggs. You cannot be responsible for the PO playing kickball with the box and hacky sack with the eggs.

As you can all see there is much celebrating at my home tonight because

SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!! Although I am teaching summer school, still have nearly two weeks off until it starts.

With that said, I can now focus on my other passions "namely poultry".

I need someone to hook me up and tell me where there is going to be an auction on Saturday. Uli works until 1am and I need my auction fix. The Noble auction was really pretty lame bird wise and I do not know if I want to go to Maud on Thursday unless some of you are coming, then I will think about it. I just do not like how they treat the goats

(which they have a crap load of).

So I will just sit here and wait

for someone to fill me in on where and when there is an auction this weekend.

Yes I am aware of how sad and pitiful I sound, just can not help it

Carla while I have no experience in selling and shipping eggs I am rather sure id tell buyer to cram it! I thought you sent 27 eggs? The buyer isnt even trying to be resonable an seems to be trying to bully you into sending them an extra 6 eggs. Do you know if the order was not right on the types of eggs?

They sent a picture of broken eggs, and pictures of the box. It's difficult to see in a small picture, but the box looks damaged to me.

I didn't write down how many eggs I sent ... I guessed 27 but at least they were nice and said I sent 29. I always try to send extras when mailing ... because I know how disappointing it is to buy eggs and some may be broken and also how shipping can scramble them. I want happy egg buyers. I'm a bit dismayed at how they expect me to send 2 extras ... and I told them shipping would be $12 to Michigan ... so when they said they'd send $7 was interesting, to say the least.

I just uploaded the pic's: The box isn't severely damaged, but I believe it was enough to damage the eggs.
