I agree that the damage does not seem consistent with the way the eggs were packaged. I would not have expected finger sized indentations to be the breakage with all that bubble wrap. Instead, I would have thought that any eggs that broke would have cracks but no indentation..... and certainly the indentation would not be uniform from egg to egg.

I am great. Loving this weather we are having. Sleep in some is always good. Lynn is going good. He will mumble choice words ever so often when he bumps his finger but other than that he will survive. It is still black.

I have a 2nd batch of chicks in the bathtub that HAS to go outside somewhere today. Gotta get one of the 2 brooder revamped to get them into. I have some that are in the bottom brooder that need to get to a bigger place. Lots of chicken duties to do today.
Lynn has to get a fence up on the new corn garden today before the deers get all the corn.

How are you and your?

That was exactly what I wanted to say but couldnt find the right words. Perfect thanks P&B

I just don't like that they think you should replace the eggs! Everyone that buys eggs knows that you can get a broken/scrambled/infertial egg, you buy at your own risk. I hope you get it taken care of Carla.

Morning P&B!!

Carla what did you get at the auction?

Me and sooner seem to agree on what sleeping in is. If i get to sleep till 7am its a rare treat! Got more eggs pipping today, these are the first ones out of the 1202 so im hoping for 100% hatch

Yo yo my Okie Homies! Sounds like you hatchaholics are getting your fixes.

So sorry about the peeps Stray - I know you've been waiting forever and then this...

Carla, I agree with P&B and muesky and nnbreeder. And I think if you refunded money for the 4 eggs AND contacted Paypal about this buyer, you'll have done what you can.

Hey Maribeth - who all is going to the NPIP class on the 12th? I'm jealous that you'll have a micro-POOPS.

TJ's Na-Na :

Yes, it's the young pair that Teach brought us at POOPS.
So in the OEGBs we're got white, black, duckwing and crele.
All but the crele came from Marvin McGehee, and these crele
originally came from a show bird breeder somewhere out
west of Tulsa.

The kids are really getting excited about the fall shows. Guess
I'll tag along and be the "go for" again this year.....LOL

I'm hoping I can talk them into taking a bunch of cages of
"sell" birds....this is getting rediculous.

So, Grace, how ya doing as far as the pack of coons? Gees,
hope they've left the county.

Have a good one !

I cannot wait until the fall shows, either

The 'coons have visited the neighbor a few times, but they have never been back here. Or, at least they have not done any more damage here

I guess I need to go get a cup of coffee & think this one over.

First off that is not true, some stores, if not all, do have you you pay shipping on the replaced item! Especially if that item is hatching eggs. Shipping eggs is a risky business, and nothing is guaranteed. If you, as the sender, replace or refund anything, it is out of the goodness of your heart!!!
