Tina we are all doing fine here. The kids are excited to be out of school, they all went to stay at friends houses last night and hubby worked till midnight. Don, I already bought one, but the jury is still out. Seems to maybe work but I haven't had enough time yet to give it a real good test. It even appears to work on myself and others in my house!

I gotta get to bed but I'll try and update you some more later.

I like the concept of naked necks, but I don't want them to have naked necks

I have 10 chicks that range from no feathers on their neck/back of the head/or craw area. To chicks that have bow-ties that almost cover the front of their neck. I'll have to look over them to give you a count how many I decided to sell, and on what color they are....and on how they are feathered!

Sorry sooner wasn't meaning to ignore you....Was on then right off... hubby wanted to snuggle....ain't missing out on that opportunity! He never sits still! LOL. But carla had it pegged...I used to really like Mel Gibson but he has gone steadily downhill. This recent deal....men are all the same. I need to get off this soapbox because it will get ugly quick!

My broody hatched another peep...I hope it's OK... Don't know when she hatched it, but it's crawling around in there peeping. That hen cracks me up... rolling her eggs to wherever she needs to be... there's obviously something going on or I would think she would just blow them off.

Well the gym is still going OK... my ankles are killing me. I have always been heavy, but never this out of shape. I fell off a ladder about 8 years ago, and fell 8-10 feet onto cement...onto my feet. Since then they have been really pissy. I didn't break them, but they were black and huge for days....Where the toes hook on got it the worst. So I have foot issues. But have been cranking 2 miles a day out for 4 days.....One more day then I get 2 off! YAY!

Hope y'all are hanging in there....we really cranked up yesterday. I think we were near 90. And it's starting to dry out. Thank goodness it's taking some of the flies! I need DE!!!

I have been reading about wanting to call Paypal all I have to say about that is

BTW: paypal is not for the Buyer or Seller, Paypal is for Paypal
some time when we really have all day I will tell you about what happens when you get ripped off.. and how if you have your checking account listed with them how they can take everything that you have in there until the problem is solved.

which can take weeks.

Monty - I will probably be getting rid of any chicks that hatch Monty...I am not betting on many...bad luck lately with shipped eggs...not very many fertile

I have begun the great coop redesign...the quail are back in as of this morning...

The boys want eggs and suc for breakfast...I have four! All those birds and only 4 eggs to eat

Don't ask how many are in the 'bator! I got 6 dozen in this week plus 2 from my own birds...is double stacking bad?

I'll probably buy up whatever you decide not to keep.
I think I'm going to end up ditching my motley crew of different breeds in the layer pen for naked necks of odd colors.
