I've got most of my chores done. It is already HOT. I was in sick bay yesterday, thought the baby was on her way, but I guess she is going to hold off a little more. I moved my chicks around so that my husband would have less to do in order to keep them alive. I do have some naked necks and marans due Thursday and then the quail from Teach will be due the 1st. I have everything set up so that it won't be hard to take care of them depending on when this child decides to make her appearance.
Hope everyone does okay the next few days with all of this heat.

Game canceled due to lack of interest instead of rain sounds like a perfectly good reason to me.

He got to work with the REALLY BIG guys.
We have one at camp so we will be playing with 8 players tonight with 1/2 worn out from football. This could go bad!! We are tied for first place with the other Quapaw team.

So we really need to win tonight. I know it is not all about winning, but why do we keep score then?

I hope everyone survived the heat today - I hear this is just a "warm-up" for next week...when it will really get hot. Welcome home ke_ben & dachunds! We will be certain to blame you two for bringing the weather with you...whatever it turns out to be.

I finallyl broke down and turned the AC on in my house...80 inside feels really good compared to 95 outside!

CityClucks or anyone else that knows,can you tell me where the swap/sale whatever it is is located in Tulsa. Is it only on saturdays? What hours? Anyone going to be there this weekend? Do they have many birds/animals? Sorry for all the questions. Like Kaben only three more days and we are headed toward Okla.!!!

eta: I've only been there a couple of times, so I can't tell you much about what they have - seems like everything household or collectible-wise, but I don't remember seeing a lot of animals. This time of year you're likely to find puppies and kittens as well as chickens. One of the times I was there someone was selling snakes.
