Will there be an auction on July 4 in Cement?

Good question Marybeth, I have never known them to not have one, you have been to Cement so you know the crowd, they don't seem to be the let's go to lake and celebrate the 4th type folks. the buyers will be there in force and the heat will tend to keep the looky lou's away, I can almost say for certain that I will be there. Don't know if we have any other plans for the 4 th.

The heat is brutal, but getting adjusted.....the gym on the other hand is killing me. I'm up to 3 miles on the elliptical....not great, but have lost 6 lbs and REALLY noticecd a difference climbing the steep stairs at church. And i can fit into pants I haven't seen in awhile! I need to keep away from the scale. I get obsessed and then cranky. LOL... I told Mike I think I saw the elliptical machine in the movie SAW once. Do you Wanna Play A Game?

I found a perfect snakeskin on my patio yesterday...it is awesome. About 18 inches I'd say. Maybe he will eat the rat living in Mike's $$$$ mower that we can't seem to poison or trap.

Have I mentioned recently that I would rather be in Oklahoma than anywhere else on earth?

Made 40.00 babysitting neighbor's dog. Halfway to my .20 guage or .410, Al. Unless I decide to buy paint first... might do that instead. I wanna get my living room and hall done before my sister gets here end of August.

Well everything went great with my Mom last night. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.... I know it helped. She didn't freak out when she saw her room. And though she was kinda depressed I threw away a TOTE BAG for heaven's sake...she didn't really miss anything from the three truckloads I hauled outta here! We sat out back on the patio, and watched hens and drank iced tea....had dinner and watched more hens, and then her favorite. Chocolate Almond ice cream...She was in heaven.... we took her back about 9:30 and I think she was glad to get back to her normal...with all the animals and stuff it's kinda chaotic here for her now....It was a very special time that I will always remember.... She was pretty tired when she left, but I'd like to do it every couple of weeks while she is able. I can't believe how much happier she is there. Even Mike was saying she is more social and outgoing now... not so depressed. I can't believe how God has taken care of every little detail. He is just amazing. Her SoonerCare came through so all I owe is one kinda nasty ambulance bill and her doctor took up my cause and wrote a letter on my behalf. I'm not gonna sweat it. It will work out.

I need an auction bad... I have more little roosters than carter has pills.

Anyone need a boatload of roosters?

Where did this dang wind come from? It's hot as heck and blowing like crazy...

Henny, I am glad to hear all went well yesterday.

God is awesome! I think there is even a song.

OK Lets play a game. It is called Blind Rooster swap. You put all of your roosters in a box or cage and then someone else (like me) does the same thing. Then you just swap boxes or cages. The one who gets the least amount of roosters is the winner.

I couldn't resist posting pic of my girl with her baby, there is another one hid in there somewhere. She has stopped sitting on the last egg, so far I am not brave enough to try to get it out of the pen.

Carla here are my silkies that I got from you at poops. They are too cute....you can't hardly see the partridge on the left. Monty, as you can see Madison's babies are right at home with them.
