I plan on using it for myself and plan to use it as an Incubator/hatcher, I do have 2 energy system back-ups for my Incubators so no problems there. I do plan to replace the outer skin of it and basicly rework the entire system to new condition, and replace the plexiglass door. The neat thing is it has a really cool automatic humidy controler, A heated water float valve system. I am fired up>

I have two very young Partridge Silkies. One is only a few days old, the other is 6 weeks. Of course, I have no idea what sex they are.
I would like to trade them for 2 Blue, Black, or Splash Silkies of similar ages. Or, I would trade them both for 1 older BBS Silkie.

Cuban, I got the cash on the barrelheads. Sorry! Paypal for the barrels. Thanks, I hope they work out. I have put some in my pens but it seems they would rather roost on top than inside.

If you notice on the barrels, there are some small screww holes in the top. That is where they had plywood screwed on for a perch. The wood was rotten so I tore it all off.
Thanks again.

Ok I hope I am not borrowing trouble. It seems that every year I start losing chicks once they hit six weeks old.
What preautions can I take to make sure the little guys don't start geting sick? Any meds, vitamins or special tricks to keep them healthy?

I know you guys won't believe this but these are the critters I have held today.
A wallaby, a python, a chinchilla, a hedgehog and an alligator. I also helped corrral a large Australian terrapin of some sort and had a monky jump on my shoulder.

How are they housed? When I move mine to bare dirt, if they don't start roosting, I lose them. Makes me mad, 'cause I'll be putting them on the roosts and they'll be jumping back down.

Stupid chickens.

They just up and waste away, it's the weirdest thing. Not all of them do that, just 1 or 2 out of a batch and only if they start piling up on the ground to sleep at night.
