I'm butchering my cornish X's tomorrow morning and wouldn't you know it, my mister timer malfunctioned yesterday and I lost 4 of them in the heat (6 to 10#, small turkeys almost

).

Just my luck.

Hi all! Is everyone enjoying this wonderful weather we are having?

We have been hiding in the house. Chickies are staying in the shade with the mister going. Does anyone know of auctions coming up soon. I thought I read somewhere about a maud auction on Thurs but I may have that mixed up! After reading and looking at the beautiful pics here on BYC I have decided I would like to add some delawares, blue orpingtons, speckled sussex, and light sussex. Hubby just sighs, LOL Oh and any of the marans! If anyone has info on these breeds it would be great.

Hi all,
Well back from Henryetta and Tulsa again.
My dad seems to be doing better but we still don't know the results of his biopsy. He may get to go home soon if his doctor will ever show up.
I went to the friend's funeral yesterday. I must say it was the longest and strangest one I have ever been to. My brother and I sang and we were the last act or I might have left early. Probably not thouigh.
Several different people spoke and it was interesting to say the least. Just long.
A couple from my mom's church are adopting the little girl so all is good there.
I appreciate all of the prayers and good thoughts.
I got all of my birds fed and watered and didn't lose any.
Two more scorchers and then some cooler weather. At least that is what the folks that think they know are saying.
Teach, glad you got the test done. I hope it turns ouit better than you think.
