Okies in the BYC The Original

Al the birds P&B got from me are actually 1/2 Naked Neck and 1/2 Malay but they show to be full Malay. Wonderful mamas and this line has broodiness bred into them from the NN side. If it's round they will cover it! I have seen all of the little free-range group come together and go after critters that come into their area such as cats and dogs but never have I had a bird go after me. Well cept broodies with new babies and that was my fault.

Cackle is out of MO if I remember right, one of the reasons I went with them was they are close. I did ALMOST order from ideal. But I seem to recall having heard about health issues in there flocks before that they didnt let anyone know about. Now if i could just get my chicks in id be alright.

Yeah they are out of Misouri, Superior Hatcheries is in OKC I may give them a try, Danny Padgett has a very good reputation and shows a few birds nationwide.

I have some young project chickens that are coming along well but I would really like to get the most growth out of them as possible.
What should I feed these birds over the next several months to produce the best looking birds possible?

That is what I have fed for the most part. I was wondering if I should keep using it or should I go to a broiler feed and should I add any grains ?

Also do they make a 28% pellet? My big chickens waste the crumbies.
