Aren't my OEGs the coolest? I really love them. They are so pretty and carry themselves well. They think they are all that. Wait till the EEs grow up. Put some snooty OEGs in their place!

Teach did your OEGs make it?

Got my Ameraucanas from PipandPeeps Monday. Going to put them in the bator soon. Some people say 14 days from lay some say 10... what do you guys think... she shipped them kinda early... I wanted to hatch them when my sister is here...don't think I'm gonna make it. My bator runs about 100.5 so everything hatches early.....

Les have you done that dry hatch thing before? Was considering trying that this route. Anybody else. Have a lot DIS. Help!

Guinea eggs can be incubated longer than 10 days after being laid, probably because their shell is thicker and they don't dehydrate as fast as chicken eggs. I suggest getting this batch started and then starting some mutt eggs to allow your your sister the opportunity to watch eggs hatch. (I ordered baby chicks one year to arrive during my sister's visit. It was way cool to watch her with the babies)

Henny can you post that storm pic again and maybe enlarge it?

If you picture the downburst as a man's torso then go up, there will be a strip of the dark clouds and then it lightens up again. The face is above that dark strip. There are two little dark horizontal cloud strips that are the bushy eyebrows.
If I lean back from the screen a ways I can
pretty much see a whole person. Minus arms and legs.
That is a cool pic. You need to sell it to the enquirer orThe Globe or Star. or Moses Weekly. Somewhere!

I have never been to the OKC one so I'll be sure and make it to the Native Oklahoma part. The Dallas Zoo is actually closer to me.

I guess I got confused since seeing Teach at Spring POOPS which happens to be only 15 miles from the OKC Zoo. Would that be just a coincidence?

I mistook him for a local. I'll have to save the snakes for later.

I almost went to the zoo today, then thought better of it. Chasing two toddlers while strapped to a newborn was not on my list of fun things to do today. OKC zoo is great, but definately take the tram around the big loop to see the giraffes, zebras, ostrich, the walk around is LONG if you are not in shape.

BTW for those of you who frequent the zoo I heard the new asia exhibit is going on the far end! the big loop that leads you from the bison over to the apes, Ugh... I hate walking that loop!

The taxes you are referring to are from the farm tax permit, right? Just in case you don't know, there's an additional tax advantage...

If the land you are proposing to buy have joining property lines, then you can also use your homestead exemption on it too. I've put a little research into it because I have 5 acres. I have my eye on a few extra acres from the property behind me. The gentleman won't sell but he's older. I've got time on my side and I'm going to be patient.
Until then I can always dream...
