Well, I went and applied for a new job today! It is within our company but out of the laboratory.
I have only had 2 jobs my entire life. First was at McDonald's for 4 years and my current one as a lab tech for 19 years. So this would be a huge move for me!
So keep me in your prayers that if this is the right job for me everthing will go off without a hitch.

HUH???????????

He's from Florida and I think that he was either looking at the number of posts or just thought that there were a lot of people posting. Either way, I think that he was overwhelmed and left.

How's everybody today? I'm headed out of town Sat. morning for a few days to Park City, UT. I hope that it is cooler there. Lately I've just been able to keep up reading and not much time to post. Good luck all, with the weather and everything. Have a great weekend!

Neecy - That had to be a "typo" ! .... or you started working
for McDonalds when you were 10 !

Hope all works out like you want it to. With all the other things
that you try to keep up with, am also hoping that the new
position would be one that was much easier and less stressful
for you, too.

Well, guess we'll be getting the report soon....LOL Today was
TJ's first day back at school. He was up, dressed, packed, and
woke us up at 5:00 ready to go. I am soooo thankful that this
kid loves school like he does.

Hope all ended up getting a round of that much needed rain.
We ended up with about 1 1/2" here.

Have a good one !

Read this here, it will really get you to thinking about resp. illnesses, especially MG.

http://www.octagon-services.co.uk/articles/poultry/gallisepticum.htm

Now most say to breed for resistance and not medicate because the birds will be carriers. So just how do they get resistance? Same as we do, by surviving the disesase and building anti-bodies to it. Then passing on this resistance to the offspring.

I know I am opening a big can of worms here but birds can survive resp. infections and do very well.

Thanks. Cool off, for one I'm hoping, but Utah in general is some of the best camping anywhere. Especially true in the summer when you get above 7000' elevation. This trip is actually to a condo and Park City is a ski resort town. I'm meeting my niece and grand-niece from Portland for the first time. (Long story, but it's not by marriage.) BTW, so true on the sig line about the butter.

Ke_Ben... You all goin' on the wrong side of the mountains, boy! Tell whoever that you wanna go to SnowBird, Alta or Solitude.

But seriously folks, you will love it....My sis lives in Salt Lake. We actually lived there for 6 months in 1984...but weren't Mormon so Mikey couldn't get a job. It is so beautiful. After being in Lake Mead it will be a breath of fresh air for you! I have a big rock I stole from Snowbird on our last road trip there....

Shaun starts school the 19th, the same stinking day he has to show his goats.

I really think I want to do this but it would mean a change and I am not sure about that!

So if it is meant to be, it will happen. But I could always use the encouragement to jump out of my ditch and try something new!!

I picked up the hatcher from the fairgrounds today to see if I can get it fired up for the hatching exhibit. The only thermometers they had in it was the round ones that is used to read the outside temps.

So I haope that by replacing those and replacing the lights in it it will fire up like a charm. When we had it plugged in for an hour tonight it heated up to about 98 on one end and 96 on the other end. So tomorrow I will plug it in all day to see if it stablizes.

Eulaine, thanks for the age complement BUT............. I am a lot older than I act

I am reaching one of the big O's this year!!
