You people are too funny! I have to admit to the temptation of wanting to choke some of the roosters I have had, to be honest. The only reason I didn't was probably because of the thought of having to heat the water and the setup that takes. Now that I'm skinning them, that could very well change.
Brick, the Elgin auction folks have 4 or 5 auctioneers who do tag team style for the most part, but at the beginning they split into two groups for a while so one group can sell just the smaller stuff, and yeah, there is a lot of that, too. Makes sense when you are selling tractors for tens of thousands of dollars sometimes to not want to get bogged down in the little stuff, yet some the little stuff is just what some folks need and want.
There will be considerably more equipment by auction day, I assure you. Folks get the email or snail mail notice like I just did and are reminded of that trailer they wanted to get rid of.
Me, I'm looking forward to bidding on that Honda bike!
ETA:
They set aside all day Friday so folks can come and look at the stuff and test it out and all. That is how I got such great deals. I tested it, took down all the information, then checked online to see how much that generator cost or is worth used. That way I know my limit before the auction even starts. Tough to do on auction day when all the bidding starts.
