We have a HD that was given to us 2 years ago from my husbands Step Mom and Dad...It was quite a surprize for the hubster... This photo is of my Jason and My son taken on Fort Sill sometime last summer while hubby was on R&R from Iraq for 2 weeks and it was just before we bought our home here in Elgin...

AH!! Seeing all the pictures is giving me the chicken bug! I'm gonna have to stay away from auctions or I'm gonna end up with more chickens than I have land. And I'm a sucker for d'Uccles and pretty roosters! If I'm not careful I'm gonna have to join Monty in the 12 step program.

I know this isn't the best picture, but since these are the ONLY chickens I have right now I wanted to share. The one on the left is only 24 hours older than the other. I think it is the Blue Copper Maran and the other the Cuckoo Maran.

And here's creepy picture... I took a picture of myself up close (which no one wants to see), and after looking at it the next day saw this little image in the background on the fence.

Gees, am ready to sit here on my backside and yack for a while.
Any body else trying to keep up with this Woods/Yang fight at the
PGA? This one will be a cliff hanger for sure. And, inbetween,
have put up 19 jars of pomegranate jelly.....yup, it's early....LOL...
I cheated and bought the Knudsen juice....LOL I have to try
to schedule when produce will be coming off vs. when Pa-Pa
and TJ say "load up, we have a chicken show"....... Gees, wish
I was closer to you guys that have the beautiful gardens.......

Am soooo ready for POOPS ! The menu is lookin' awesome !!!!!!!
I'd have volunteered for clean-up....but then I saw the
chicken/dumplings......maybe after supper......LOL
