Nana - as long as you keep making wonderful jelly and using those canning jars, your family is going to buy jars for you every chance they get.

I used to do a lot of canning - until we moved to this house in 2000 and I switched my energy to chickens. It was the kitchen cabinets in this house that I fell in love with, but this kitchen isn't laid out well for much baking or canning. Not enough counter space.

I have returned yet again!

Been playing with the birds. Haven't gotten to play in a long time! Sure was fun. Moved stuff aorund and...I have a few too many roos! Stupid little things are barely worth eating...but I am gonna get er done!

Henny! How ya doing girl! Getting rid of the OEG's???? NO NOT THAT!!!!

TJ's Na-Na - I have NO clue what it is! I'm thinking maybe a feeder hanging on the fence, but I never saw any livestock... Dad says its Big Foot. *haha* That was in Slapout after a storm, hopefully it didn't follow me home!

quenston - Maybe I need to start hittin up estate and garage sales!

Teach - Good to see you back! Whatcha wantin to get rid of? Hopefully its all ugly and I won't want it... Oh who am I kidding, there's no such thing as an ugly chicken!

Monty & Grace - Whenever you two come back, what's your opinion on the colors of my chicks??

Monty,

Yes, I bought a rooster from Terry Britt last year. He is one of the breeders I have bought from. He raises some truly great white rocks. Some of the stock in my lines have 50 to 80 years of breeding behind them. I have high hopes of improving them even farther.

Sounds kind of arrogant when I see it on paper like that.

How could you think such a thing!!!! Gomer is my favoritiest roo! Very protective of his ladies and very good looking! Buster is just pretty....I don't think he likes hens...but he has a home! Nope these are extra extras that are pretty or useful...just old or ugly!
