Good morning all. Another hot muggy morning here.

Afternoon T-storms. Went out and checked all the chicks. Replinshed the waterers,added a touch of teremycine to the water,it seems to keep them doing a little better,not as droopy. The EE bantams are laying again after a summer slow down,actually most are getting over being broody. Only have two broodys left,hope more start soon. I love hatching the fussys!Hawks have moved in so I had to stop flying my rollers.Still haven't found a hen for Mr. Topknot duck. Maybe some will start showing up at auctions before long.
Picked and processed another half bushel of tomatoes yesterday.

Dachs...How's things with your MIL? Hope all is well.

We got a storm last night. Mike left at midnight and was back at 5 this am to grab his sandwich and a coffee. Then out the door again....We got some rain, but a lot of wind! Hope you guys are all okie dokie....

Well, on my EE hatching disaster. Got 14 eggs. 8 were clear. Six in the bator. Tried the dry hatching thing. The 6 that are left are peeping, but no pips yet....

Was awakened at 2:30 am by this storm coming in we got some rain, but the dang wind/gust front threw winds at us up to 71 mph. It was pretty intense, I will be out there checking on any damage. How did everybody else fair.

Trailer shook pretty good last night but it seems everything is as it should be. So I guess all is well. Now the trick will be to see if I can get the truck out of my parking spot! Everyone have a great day!

I am depressed. My wife let Evan's beagle pup out of the pen when she left for work this morning, and he ran straight out and killed my best rooster. I don't want to have to shoot my grandson's pup, but I can't have this.
