Monty - I'm thinking....you missed one..... Countryroad asked if
we needed a microphone and speakers....sounded like a Karoke
Machine to me........ , do you sing in this thing?...come on...tell true....Hennie can play the guitar
and sing along with you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, several others have
admitted they can do the music as well. Wouldn't hurt a thing
to have a couple of mics and speakers...... I see a "sing-along"
in the works..............

And, just a reminder.....If any of our young BYC'ers are showing
critters in your local, county, or state shows.....I'm trying to keep
track of those that I know about and want to know about any
others....whether they will have already been, or are planning
to go. Just send me a PM so I can keep track.

I may be MIA for a couple of days (LOL)....Like Paul Harvey.....
I got "the rest of the story" today. Gees, why did Pa-Pa buy
Na-Na all those canning jars????? Seems a friend of his "just
knew" that I would want 75 pounds of beautiful tomatoes....
and 40+ pounds of plums and pluots, and on and on...........
Now to Ralph Cramden...."One of these days.....POW !!! "

See ya soon....well, eventually..... Have a good one !

Nana,
Id give my eye teeth, wiat already did that, Ok my 1st born, no wait she has my grandkids, well ok you get the idea.................for 75 lbs of maters.
Oh my salsa, spaghetti sauce, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce ..........

My maters didnt make well this year. Not any fault of mine. I did tell Lynn that if I am to take care of the garden it WILL be done my way next year. A lot of container gardening and MULCH and MORE MULCH!!!!!!!!!!! Plus I am going to hire the chickens to do most of the pre gardening for me, the tilling and fertilizing. He agreed. Now just to talk the chickens into it.
I am going to build(well have built) one of them garden coops, they live on one side of the coop one year and the other side is the garden that they have already worked up.

We did mow down the garden yesterday, all that is left is maters and peppers. I might get a few fresh maters to enjoy with dinner.

Thanks for the smilies Monty!

Donna luvs2bememaw - I haven't gotten an email from you yet, but you may still be working on your creative masterpiece (which is awesome!). You can also try sending it to me at [email protected] when you get the chance....

Just checking in with everyone. I still have 19 cute little babies. They are all doing well. I haven't had time to post but I've been checking in daily. I bought some coturnix and button quail eggs today. Gonna try hatching them for my DH.

Monty: The smilies were cute and made me smile. I am about to head up your way. Going to stay the night at my DH's grandpa's house. He lives of Harrah/Newalla Rd. My daughter has a doctors appointment at Children's at 8:00 in the morning. Wish I had time to come visit but I don't. We have to help his grandpa do some things tonight and head out first thing in the morning.

Hope everyone has a great evening.

Is there going to be an ugly rooster contest at POOPS? I've got one I was planning to process soon, but if we're going to pick the ugliest mug, I'll save him for the show.

DH warned me not to enter, though, because he thinks the winner should have to take home all the ugly roosters as the prize.
