TJ's Na-Na :

Big Okie - Such a tragedy. Our thoughts are with all of you.

Quenston and Big Okie - What are your thoughts about all this
rain and going to Afton tomorrow? Are you still planning to
go? We got another round this morning and they say a 30%
chance tomorrow. We have never done any good on Sundays
and I figure it will be the lake crowd out there Monday.....
At this point, we're still planning to try it.

Sounds like everyone is busy, busy, busy..... We sure are
around here.

All this "permit" bit is really curious to us. We went through
all this for several years with ringneck pheasants, (only the
ringneck required a permit), and Butler Bobwhites (nothing
required on the Coturnix) and the Chuckars. There's obviously
confusion out there within the Agri Department........

Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

I am going to be there sun or rain I plan on being there around 7 or so hope to see you down there I will be driving a chevy pickup with a camper on it grey in color hauling a trailer of stuff.

Did you get my PM?

Yes, Beth I sure did. I will be sure to bring my gorgeous Creole OEG Bantams to POOPS, if I make it. I'll be jinker jock, tipple top, if I'll sell them for $4.50 like the Maud crowd wanted.

I'll probably bring some Appenzeller Spitzhaubens also. I hope to meet some Okies there.

ROLL TIDE>>>>>>> ROLL!!!

I just got back from Atwoods in Sand Springs, where I tested my powers of self control by looking at but not buying baby chicks. Man, the banded pullets all looked healthy and spry! I saw BRs, BAs, EEs and some red peeps that might be Sex Link or Production Reds. There were also some chocolate-colored chicks - I don't know what they are.

They also have tiny keets which don't have any power over me...I've seen the alien fowl those things grow into. However, I was surprised to find that if I looked at the cute little ducklings for more than 15 seconds I started wanting them. So I had to leave.

I'll be fiddle faddle whipple pipped if I come home with any more poultry!

You did better than me. They had Pied Keets here and I've been seriously wanting some. DH told me to get however many I wanted. UH OH!!! I only picked out four though. It was my compromise with myself for saying before I went in that I would not leave with any. Last weekend we bought eight and hatched fifteen. I went back this evening though. I looked and didn't buy. Yea for me.

Quenston - The forecast is looking a little better.....but, from
here.....you WON'T see Na-Na at 7:00....... Gees, I'm hoping
I can find my side of the truck by then......LOL I'm finishing up
supper and Pa-Pa and the kids are out there loading the
trailer now. A friend of Bill's "blessed" him with a batch of
bantams to bring up there, too. So, if you know anyone that
needs some, give them a holler as well. They are mixed birds,
but have been tended and are healthy. Most are blue/silver
duckwing crosses and are really good lookin' birds, just not
purebreeds.

See ya....... "maybe" about 8:30...........LOL

Have a good one !

"fiddle faddle whipple pipped" I like that. Could I borrow that sometimes?

Of course, Snap - feel free to use this phrase the next time you go to an auction!

(I noticed you were using up lots of your creative words today!)
