Yeah They are becoming a big problem all across the country.
Have you seen the show Pig Bomb on TV? It is a documentery on
the explosion of wild/feral hogs in the U.S. and the economical affect they are having,

I have a guy from the Tulsa area coming on friday to buy most if not all my Hens and pullets.. Not getting a lot for them but they are off the feed bill and less to care for.

Good evening all!!! Been canning all morning and now have a huge pot of Chili on the stove and BBQ Chicken Breast in the crock pot, made jelly, pickled okra, sweet and sour sauce, time to kick back with a glass of sweet tea and watch some COPS, Dakota is showing some chickens and pigeons and some of his canned jelly in the Noble Co. Grace, how many chickens did you come up with? I just got all of my labels finished. I'm about to go out bird prepping. I hope none of my chickens shrink.

The girls have to make cookies tomorrow. I finished my photograph this morning. Here's a sneak peak. I'm rather proud of it. I took it in Afghanistan while I was deployed. I'm sure the little girl is probably fully encased in a berka by now. I'm off to go chicken dunking...

Dandelion - That is a beautiful shot.

Emptied my bator today. I had picked up the last few eggs from my uncle's grown chickens, wasn't sure how long they'd been there. Sadly, but not to my surprise, not a one hatched.

Well I've been out building my chicken pen. Its so humid here, its like swimming in a hot tub. As soon as I finish the thing I get my chickens, yay! Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday, staying cool and safe!
