Dont feel bad, We only got to stay for just enough time to check it out, hubby and children had never been to an auction before in their life where I have since when I was a kid my mom and then step dad raised beef cattle... . Kids were pretty hungry so we had to get going, but hubby was interested in returning to any auctions near by and making sure we bring cages and money..

I see you also garden, how much do you sell your produce for? I didnt garden this year because of to many home projects, but I dont mind supporting local growers...

BTW when is the fletcher auction?

Thanks. I will definately bring my Crele OEG Bantams. They were my best sellers in Alabama, and I'm gonna try them here. However, I'll NEVER take any of my bantams back to the Maud auction. My creles only went to $4.50. I no sold them, and brought my beauties home

They are so pretty, and definitely worth more than $4.50!!!

Once again, I want to thank all the great people who contributed to the POOPS Raffle Donation

Hey Al.
I got my holiday meal from the Mayer's farm.
They were kind enough to cut the meat into little "speres" and seal them in plastic.
For a small farm, Oscar and Mrs. Mayer sure have a neat little operation.

Thanks Al, My trap was empty this morning so no pulled pork for me.

LOL I wouldn't think so but they are faster than the buzzards, and will root some serious damage in the creek beds.
