I took a peek at recent posts. There is no way I can ever catch up.

I've been grading interpretive essays for two weeks (rough drafts and then final drafts), so I haven't had any time for recreational reading. It's comical how many high school students feign ignorance when told they are not allowed to copy material straight from the book. DOCUMENTATION: Is that a foreign word? French, maybe? My least motivated students believe that PLAGIARISM is the Spanish word for "You can watch TV until midnight and then cut-and-paste your essay from the Internet."

Sophomores are a challenge. There are other things as well, but a good educator never uses such language. That's a joke. I've got an amazing bunch of students this year. If I had three or four more hours each day, I could get caught up

Take care, everyone. I'm looking forward to POOPS!

As mentioned before, here is a pic of the chickens that I got last night. I have more if anyone wants to see them.

OMG I have chicks pippin & zippin!! This was not supposed to start till tomorrow. I'm using the hovabator 1588 and my electronic thermometer always showed 100 degrees, still does. I wonder, hmmm. Little guys are peepin & pippen & tryin to zip. Some of the eggs are rockin back & forth, ahhhhhhhh!!! I'm so nervous, and a great big thunder boomer just moved through. I thought for sure we were going to lose power.

HELP!!!!

How old are they smfamf?

I don't know for sure. The guy I got them from didn't know anything. They look fairly young to me. The pullet doesn't seem old enough to breed. She refuses any advance from the cockeral. I don't know if this means anything. He had about 75 chickens of various ages and breeds.

Hi everybody. Hope all are doing well. I'm jealous for you POOPS goers. I seem to have no time lately, gotta run. Have a great rest of the week.

They only hold 30 eggs instead of 48 but are only $.95, not $5.25. They have them for quail or whatever too. Somebody was looking for leg bands also, the atlas adjustable aluminum ones are numbered and work pretty good.

$.95 is an excellent price! I had forgotten about Cutler supply

Make sure they stay warm! I would place a dish of warm water in there if the humidity drops too low, thats what I had to do.

Thanks! How much is to low? I've got to at 73% right now.

Anyone care to try your hand at ID'ing these four little bantams I picked up at Atwoods today? I know, I know, I need more chicks like I need another hole in my head, but they were so cute!
