Whew, I survived the Fair... and my birds did too!

The Spitzhauben's were still too young when I shut down the incubator for the season, so I haven't gotten any chicks from them. And I just have a couple Hamburgs babies, so they are staying right here

Welcome to our new folks ! And WAY TO GO on our growing
list of award winners at the shows !!!!! We'll be running our
kids through the drill here Friday evening.

Would fuss about all the rain, too, except I'm thinking surely
it will get this out of it's system and clear out and be nice and
clear for POOPS. And, come on guys, EVERYBODY get well !!!!!
There seems to be soooo much of it going around, gonna run
my bunch through flu shots this week.

Got a little story myself - There MAY be help for Kendra yet....LOL
She was out feeding and watering in the flight pens and spotted
a little old english chicken that had been pretty much mutilated.
Then, heard something behind her and was "this weird bird"
trying to attack others. She slammed the door shut, went
running for the dip net, got back in there, caught it, and managed
to get it dumped in the live trap......before she hit the front door
"all shook up".....LOL We've noticed that we were losing white
OEGBs in their yard and figure we know now why. Sure never
expected the stupid Cooper Hawk to go in through the door
of the flight pen. Is too big an area to cover with anything.
ONE DOWN....anyway..... Ahhhhhhhhh...life at the farm.......
