LOL! Nope...no finals, but I have a feeling my job would be an issue...and then there's the threat of the end of my life if I missed the bridal shower for my friend...since I'm having to miss her wedding to go to the Tulsa State Fair for the poultry show!

Monty I am convinced that quail just hatch whenever they think you forgot about them or when they think they can make a break for it and roam the house. Wife found two wondering around this evening. They are possessed!

Got any more maran type extra roos that might be on the small side???

I don't have any Marans small enough for snake chow. Will other breeds do? I have some of those.

I do have two bigger 5- to 6 month old cockerals that are nice if you are wanting breeding birds. One is a dark Cuckoo which is kinda rare but I am not sure what else it means.​

You are gonna be OOGLING all over the place.
I am planning to bring him to POOPS. He is out of a heavily feather footed rooster. I am not sure which hen is his mama. I have both feathered and non feathered hens. I can't remember if he has feathers or not. If he does, there aren't a lot. One of the Cuckoo roolings has feather feet.

Cuban, I have asked around on some Marans and Dark egg groups and they said that he carries a double gene. I am sure you understand that better than me. Most said it depends on what I plan to do with him that would determine his worth,. Whatever that means.

Bout to the end of my rope with these chickens. Now I have really weird things going on. Found two spots of really bloody poop.... Checked everyone in vicinity and found zilch. Then my RIR pullet from POOPS has both wings hanging...one is down so far she trips on it..... No one is eating anything.....but bugs from the rain.

You guys got any ideas.... Im about ready to cull everything...use the coop as a shed!!!

I was there around 2pm today, got off work early. Saw a little Bantam roo that was AWESOME!! 10 foot tall and bullet-proof, lol, crowin his little heart out. There's also a great big buff orpington roo that I really like!
