smfamf---I would help you if I could...however,I have not had the best luck with turkeys. I had some do just what you're describing but they didn't make it. They would look fine and then just get lethargic and die. HOpe you find some info . Looked as if people were telling you their best answers.

My husband just told me that the friend he got him from had him for over a year. He is going on two years now.

The vet just told my husband that I was right and he is just getting too big.

It has taken us two days to get and answer from the vet.

For those on the TX border, I just saw this:

I have decided to sell off my Buff Orpington flock in the interests of
bringing in a younger flock for egg production. There are 12 hens and
1 rooster. These birds have passed their "prime" but are still
laying. On average I get 3-4 eggs a day (from the flock). I am
selling only to make room for a new breed I'm bringing in soon. These
birds are registered and inspected with the Texas Health Commission
for Typhoid/Pollurum. Paper available. This birds also will make get
chicken and dumplings. Rooster is very young (about 9 months) so he
would make for great breed stock.

If interested:

Location: Joshua, Tx
Price: $7.00 each or $75.00 for entire flock

BLIP, BLIP!!

Just checking in!

Have tragic news though, we will not be coming to POOPS!!!
We have wwwaaayyyy to much going on to even think about leaving town.
Quenston has been kind enough to agree to picking up the Langshans I bought from Cuban and the t shirts I ordered. He is also agreed to bring the plates and plasticware I promised to bring.

I will miss you guys and I will be looking forward to seeing pictures of all the fun we missed. But we have some really important stuff to take care of up in this neck of the woods.

We still don't have a computer at the house so I am still looking in at work. Which has been WAY to busy to do lately.

I will check in with you guys tomorrow.

I am sorry, but I know very little about Turkeys. You might try giving him some vitamins or even gatorade and see if that gives him some life.

Hey guys! Well...it seems that because you two are the only ones left besides me, we must have missed the rapture. Good thing we are all armed to the teeth!!

Chuck! How is John doing? Do you know yet if both Calob and BJ are coming to POOPS with you? Be sure to get some good tires on whatever truck/trailer you're bringing!

Hey STIMPY!! Man, I have really missed you. Summer is busy and it's been hard for me to spend as much time as I like chatting up the Chicken Okies. Are you doing okay?
